(VNA – 17/6/2011) – Vietnamese Ambassador to New Zealand Nguyen Hong Cuong on June 16 presented his credentials to Governor-General of New Zealand Anand Satyanand in the capital city of Wellington.
Ambassador Cuong conveyed State President Nguyen Minh Triet’s regards and best wishes to Anand Satyanand as well as the Vietnamese Government and people’s determination to further develop the comprehensive partnership between the two countries.
Cuong affirmed that he would do his utmost to develop the comprehensive partnership more deeply and practically.
Governor-General Satyanand expressed his delight at the fine development of friendly relations and multifaceted cooperation between Viet Nam and New Zealand.
He affirmed that the New Zealand government and people attached great importance to further developing friendly and comprehensive cooperative ties with Viet Nam, in both bilateral and multilateral ways, maximising the two countries’ great potential to lift bilateral relations to a new height./.
