Latest Updates on Vietnam's eVisa Policy

2. Vietnam eVisa Duration Extended to 90 Days

As per the approval, the validity of the Vietnam eVisa will be extended to 90 days, allowing for single or multiple entries. This is an improvement over the current policy of 30-day validity for single entry only.

During the 90-day period, eVisa holders are permitted to enter and exit Vietnam as many times as they desire, without the need for a new eVisa issuance procedure.

The decision to extend the eVisa duration aims to meet the requirements of international travelers, particularly those who wish to study, conduct market research, and explore investment opportunities. It is especially beneficial for individuals who need to visit various Southeast Asian countries and return to Vietnam to assess and compare potential investment and business prospects.

This change will be applicable for individuals who apply for the Vietnam eVisa on or after August 15, 2023. Those who already have their Vietnam eVisa issued or have submitted their application before this date will not be eligible for this extension.
